For Consumers
If you've got a dispute with a dealership or manufacturer about a recently-purchased vehicle or any repair works you've undertaken, you might want to consider an Independent Vehicle Report to support your claim.
Adjudicators like the Motor Ombudsman require such a report in order to reach a verdict.
Our experienced technicians are able to provide impartial and confidential reports in a number of circumstances:
- Service and repair disputes. If you believe the repair work carried out has not fixed the issue or made it worse but the business disagrees, an Independent Vehicle Report can establish whether the repair work was inadequate.
- Vehicle sales disputes. If you've been sold a car with a fault that wasn't disclosed during the sales process, an Independent Vehicle Report can prove that the fault was present before it was sold to you.
- Extended warranty disputes. If you believe an issue should be covered by the terms of the warranty but the other business disagrees; they might try to put it down to wear and tear, for example. Here an Independent Vehicle Report can assess whether the fault is a manufacturer defect and decide whether it should be covered under the terms of the warranty.
